If it does pull it a few times and see if there is any oil or gas blowing out of the spark plug hole. Remove the spark plug and then pull the starter rope to see if the engine spins.

If that s the case remove the spark plug and see if it will pull all the way out as it should. If there is make sure the level is correct and not over filled. A stuck unloader in the pump would usually cause this. If the rope still will not come out the problem is likely in the engine.

I assume you mean that it won t pull out all the way. A pressure washer can be a unique piece of equipment for a variety of reasons. If you can pull the rope the problem is in the pump. One however can be a frustrating one for machine owners.

If you cannot pull the starter rope out i recommend pulling the trigger on the wand first. Took a look at the pull rope assembly to see what was jammed or bent or broken. How do i get it lose.
